When is the best time to book a newborn session?

The best time to book your newborn session is anytime after your second trimester. This will ensure that I will be able to accommodate you once baby arrives. I take a limited amount of due dates each month to ensure that I can schedule baby within two weeks of their birth.

Where does the session take place?

I have a fully licensed and insured in home studio located in SE Calgary.

What is included in the newborn session?

I provide everything needed for your newborn session. You just provide the baby. I have an extensive collection of props and style each session according to information provided once you book. Once you arrive for your session I will go over each set up I have created for you.

How does scheduling work?

Once you have paid your deposit and signed your contract I will record your due date. That will reserve a time within two weeks of baby’s actual birth date. Once baby arrives I will have you get in touch with me as soon as possible and from there we will schedule the exact date of the session.

When is the best time for photos?

As I have mentioned above, within two weeks of birth is generally the ideal time for photos. Babies tend to be at their sleepiest and curliest in this time period making posing them a bit easier than later on. That being said I have photographed newborns up to 6 weeks. If baby comes before 37 weeks, I like to wait until closer to their original due date.
